How to Draw an Anime Face from the Side
A Step-by-Step Tutorial for Beginners
Drawing an anime face from the side view can seem easy, but it can actually be a bit tricky. To make the process easier to understand, I've created this step-by-step tutorial.
Step 1: Start with a Basic Sketch
Begin by drawing a simple circle for the head. Then, draw a vertical line down the center of the circle, and a horizontal line across the middle. These lines will help you place the features of the face.
Step 2: Add the Eyes
Now, draw the eyes. The eyes should be slightly tilted up at the outer corners. Draw a small circle for each iris, and add a highlight to each eye.
Step 3: Add the Nose
The nose is located in the center of the face, just below the eyes. Draw a small, triangular shape for the nose.
Step 4: Add the Mouth
The mouth is located just below the nose. Draw a small, curved line for the mouth.
Step 5: Add the Hair
The hair can be drawn in any style you like. For this tutorial, I've drawn a simple, flowing hairstyle.
Step 6: Finish the Drawing
To finish the drawing, simply add any details you like, such as shading or highlights.
